Read the physical and technical requirements, sleeping arrangements and risk notes on the trip page. A skiing trip and a driving trip ask different things of you. Tell us about your experience and anything that could affect your participation so we can talk through the fit.

Start with an enquiry or the application on the trip page. An application does not create a booking or confirm that a trip will operate. If we offer you a place, the written offer and booking conditions set out what happens next.

The included and not-included lists on each trip page describe that trip. Prices are per person in GBP. Check those lists before comparing trips: accommodation, meals, equipment and local transport arrangements differ.

Flights are not included. You book your own flights, and we recommend waiting until we confirm in writing that your trip will run. The trip page gives the arrival and return arrangements currently published for that route.

You must arrange travel insurance, including cancellation cover, when you book. It needs to cover your itinerary and activities. Check the requirements for your particular trip, including any remote travel or evacuation cover, before buying a policy.

The answer depends on who cancels, when and why. Expedition payment and cancellation schedules differ from other trips. Read the current cancellation tables and booking conditions before committing; they also explain minimum group numbers, changes and refunds.
