Mountain & self-drive
Julian
Julian scouts routes, leads challenge expeditions and does the operational work that keeps self-drive journeys moving.

The story
Julian combines route scouting with the operational work behind challenge expeditions: testing the shape of a journey, understanding what it asks of a team, and keeping the moving parts working when plans meet the road.
He leads expeditions as well as building them, so the decisions are grounded in what a self-drive day actually feels like — the vehicle, the terrain, the distance and the group in front of him.
For Atlas51, that practical backbone supports the Karakoram programme: a self-drive journey where the road is central to the experience and the operational detail stays deliberately unobtrusive.
